So sorry for the late upload!!! I have just had tests over these past two weeks, it’s been pretty hectic. I got pretty good results, I wish I got a bit better though. I did get a certificate for the best efforts in my class, which was really nice. :) I got 100/102 on my kanji test, and 176/200 on my written test. My listening test was not as good, but I need to be more consistent and study more. Thankfully I know the areas I’m bad at now, that’s what I was really hoping to figure out because the JLPT is the one that really matters.
this uploaded in only 5 minutes in this airbnb!! my sister has come to tokyo to visit me for the two weeks we have off, it’s feeling like an actual break and I really needed it, we’re going to a lot of the hotspots and I’m showing her around! However i got my new study book for next semester and it is very daunting, there are SO many kanjis, I need to study even though it’s a holiday. I know tokyo really well now so I’m basically being her tour guide. I have pre-recorded 4 videos :3 to edit and upload for the two weeks, two are for patreon. I was really worried about not being able to record and stuff. Turns out this is the best place to upload them because the wifi speed is so fast.
Yesterday I picked her up from the airport and it was exhausting, I hate dragging suitcases onto the trains and stuff ;’) but we went to sunshine city and I showed her the different clothing shops. She got a cute jumper with a teddy bear on it. We also went to sushiro and that was nice, we spent only £2.50 each and we were sooo full from the sushi (we’re pretty fussy eaters though so we chose pretty basic things). I hope to find some mitarashi dango or daifuku today so she can be blessed with how great they taste. We’re heading to a cafe soon and we’ll read our books there (and I’ll do some kanji study). I’m taking my camera out today, I am SO excited I haven’t been out in months besides just studying for tests in cafes.
Also I’m so frustrated because I brought my broken earphones so editing this video has been a pain!! I thought for most of it my mic was quieter on one side, and then I checked my earphones and I realised I brought my old ones. Also my AirPods just died and I forgot my charger for them. ;_; I’m going to have to figure something out. Anyway, have a lovely week guys :3 much more soon, I’ll write a little diary of what I get up to and make a whispering video while doing some other triggers.
