Seven Years of Trust, One Strand at a Time

About seven years ago, she came with strong curls and severely damaged lengths. She regretted ten years of disappointing straightening elsewhere. After our first session, she loved the silky feel. Today, she still leaves delighted, and her hair feels more resilient.

My Own Formula Language
I record separate approaches for roots, mid-lengths and ends, within manufacturer-approved combinations. Like seasoning food, experience gives a starting point; testing checks the fit. I strand-test, especially previously treated lengths. Hair can respond differently from what I expect.

Pro Tip for Hairstylists
Ask about history. Look, feel and test. Chemical softening—the reduction stage—is crucial. pH alone is not the formula: reducing strength, time, condition and heat all matter. Overprocessing can leave hair weak and limp. My aim is to preserve remaining strength and body, not revive dead fibers or permanently thicken them.

Smooth movement, a substantial feel, and a client leaving with a smile: that is the result I work for.
