It was my day off and one that involved shopping for food and scaffolding bras and far too much of other stuff that resulted in quite a lot of not very much at all in terms of tangible results but these are the days that are required to remind me that it is ok to be halfway to nowhere and not to give a damn.

I had planned to record earlier in the day, somewhere between snacking on salami and mopping floors on my hands and knees but the builders beeped and banged from 7.30 until 4pm with a short break for lunch, which, had things been a little better organised, been the perfect time to record but I had toothpaste in my hair and that resulted in me cleaning my bathroom and getting distracted by a dripping tap and that lead to me looking for a washer in my toolbox and by that stage, the builders were back at it and well...you know
