This is a good watch if you’re looking to see the Odyssey, or if you intend to read the epic along with me through the membership!
Today, we cover the historical context for The Odyssey and The Iliad. To prepare for our reading of the Odyssey, I offer an overview of the plot of The Iliad in the second half of the video. The first half is dedicated to an overview of the Greek peninsula and Anatolia during the Bronze Age.
