Teaching You Until You Fall Asleep: Human Evolution History 📚 ASMR Teacher Roleplay
It's been requested multiple times, so take a seat, relax, and let's get into some history, class! We are focusing on three very weird humans today: Homo floresiensis, Homo luzonensis, and Homo naledi. You'll hear why they're so odd in this. But we'll also get a taste of broad human evolution history as well! Our start is “a review” (my way of doing an overview) of everyone from the split between humans and chimpanzees to now before discussing our strange contemporary hominin members.
I absolutely did not get everything because I already went over for time. I'd love to discuss the more specific differences between Homo erectus associated species, we could discuss taxonomy better, there's a lot that needed more detail, but it's a little crash course for some of the basics.
A few slight goofs! I mixed up the Ledi Geraru mandible fossil identification number with the Homo floresiensis type specimen: Ledi Geraru is LD 350-1, H. floresiensis is LB-1. Mixed up 1.4 with 1.9m for Homo naledi. And my flabbers are gasted that Philippines has one 'L' and two 'P's. I got it the other way around.
