Korean Chemical Hair Straightening ASMR | The Secret to Silky Hair with Body & Bounce | Part 1
Beautiful straight hair begins with understanding the hair in my hands.
Three clients. Three different journeys. One shared hope: smooth, beautiful hair that still feels full of life.
Today’s ASMR brings together three chemical hair straightening journeys on mostly healthy, medium-length and long hair. One client traveled around 20 minutes, another about an hour, and another nearly two hours. Every journey reminds me that trust begins long before someone sits in my chair—and deserves care long after they leave.
My Own Formula Language — Finding the Right Balance
I often compare formulation to seasoning food. The right balance brings out the best in what is already there. But when I meet a client for the first time, how could I know that balance from appearance alone?
I study the hair’s history, texture, elasticity, and condition, then use strand tests to see how it responds. The roots, mid-lengths, and ends may belong to the same head, yet need very different decisions.
For mostly healthy hair, I generally use a two-stage application. When the ends need gentler treatment, I may work in three sections, tailoring the formula and timing for the roots, mid-lengths, and ends.
Within the product system’s guidelines, I consider pH alongside reducing strength, processing time, moisture, and heat. My goal is silky straight hair that retains body, resilience, and movement. Excessive processing can weaken the hair and leave it feeling thin or limp. The answer is careful assessment, study, testing, and knowing when enough is enough.
This is chemical hair straightening designed for lasting results beyond a single wash. Treated lengths remain straight, while new growth keeps its natural texture. Many of my clients return around every 4–6 months, depending on their growth, texture, condition, and home care.
Behind Every Visit Is a Connection
Today, a salon’s story can travel far beyond its neighborhood. Through the videos I film, edit, and share myself, someone discovers my work, watches quietly, and eventually decides, “I want to go there.”
A screen becomes a connection. A connection becomes a journey. And that journey becomes a responsibility I take seriously.
Whether you come from 20 minutes away or nearly two hours away, thank you for choosing my chair. I want the care you receive here to make that journey worthwhile.
💡 PRO TIP
Healthy-looking hair still needs careful assessment. Strand tests help guide the service; pH alone cannot predict the result. Formulation, timing, heat, and the hair’s treatment history all matter.
