Our AC Quit on One of the Hottest Nights of the Year… 😩❄️

Last night our AC started blowing hot air on one of the hottest nights of the year. 😩
The outside unit was humming, but the fan wasn’t spinning. After checking a few things, I replaced a $30 capacitor, and thankfully, cold air started flowing again! 🙌
I’m not an HVAC technician, but if you’re experiencing the same symptoms, this might be worth checking before assuming the worst.
Hopefully this helps someone save a little money—and get some sleep. 😅
