Ep. 11 Write-up:
The heroes ventured to the south eastern edge of Thundertree, where the dragon cultists were barricaded in a mostly intact farmhouse. They managed to convince the cultists that they were also here to bring offerings to the green dragon, and managed to get their leader Favric and his minions outside.
Daelin went ahead to the tower overlooking the town, and attempted to offer the dragon something to forge an alliance, treasure, magic, and finally the lives of the cultists. Meanwhile, Naegin, Eyvanna and Troy were leading the cultists up the hill and on their arrival, the cultists launched their sudden but inevitable betrayal.
The members of the party had to fight off the cultists, but at the same time, the dragon Venomfang swooped down on the battling heroes, letting forth a blast of deadly poison. Things looked dire for them as they were overwhelmed by the might of the duplicitous dragon. Naegin and Daelin were both put into deadly situations, and Naegin had a brush with death, narrowly avoided due to the Tome of Uncertainty taking him far away from the battle.
The party managed to drive Venomfang off, with the assistance of Troy’s new otherworldly powers. They limped to the house of Reidoth, who congratulated them on a job well done, and offered Daelin membership in the emerald enclave, and the title of Springwarden.
Naegin awakened in a village called Dunkirk, laying the center of the street, miraculously whole and alive. He quickly writes a name tag and starts to collect money from those people who would recognize him by name. He encounters a fan named Gran, and a lady named Triss in the local bar, the Bottom Dweller’s Bucket. After a night filled with carnal pleasure, he arranged to join a caravan back towards Neverwinter and his waiting comrades...
