The wave passing across the open ocean doesn’t actually move from one side of the ocean to another. It only appears so. The wave is a ripple in the liquid field of the sea. It is the same with light, and therefore time. Time only appears to move. You may wonder if light doesn’t travel, then how do we feel the warmth of the sun? We feel it, because we live inside the sun. Once again, it just appears to us that we live outside the sun. The point is that our means of perception is not as limited as we think.
