Happy Valentine's day! Tonight I thought we could bake some Fastelavensboller (Sweet buns with Jam and Whipped cream) together :)

Fastelavensbolle (Sweet bun) Recipe:

❤️ 2 Cups Plant milk (room temperature) I use Oat milk ~
❤️ 1/2 Cup Vegan Butter (melted and room temperature)
❤️ 1 Packet Active Dry Yeast
❤️ Let it sit for 5 min.
❤️ 1/4 Cup Sugar
❤️ 5 Cups Flour
❤️ 2 tsp Cardamom

Put the Plant milk, Vegan Butter and 1 Packet Active Dry Yeast in a large baking bowl.
Let it sit for 5 min.
Add Sugar, Flour and Cardamom and combine the ingredients.
Work the dough for 10 min. in a Food Processor or 15-20 min. by hand :)
Put the dough back into the bowl and cover it with a warm towel and let rise in a warm place for 1 Hour. The dough should double in size.
Drizzle some flour on your working station, and divide the dough into 15 pieces, and make rolls.
Put the rolls on a baking tray with a baking sheet. Brush the buns with a little plant milk before putting them in the centre of the preheated oven. 200 degrees Celsius for 12 min.

Let the finished rolls cool down a bit before adding whipped cream, your favourite jam and drizzle the top with powdered sugar :)
