Whenever I was having a really bad day, someone close to me would say, "Call it a Mulligan!" Meaning... let's treat today like it doesn't count (or rather, like it doesn't count *against* us) and try again tomorrow!
This analogy always helped me deescalate my anxiety a.k.a CALM DOWN :) I hope this rhetoric works for you, too! ā„ļø
