current read: pale fire - vladimir nabokov
I finished no longer human, that was a deep book, some odd undertones (aka his perception of women) but I also feel like it further perpetuated his isolation, it was interesting.
pale fire... loving it so far, the long poem, it's just so beautiful, it might be one of my favourite books yet, his prose is like nobody else's. It quite literally feels like asmr, his word choice is agh, just pristine. I'm sounding weird now, but anyway... it's a massive shift after reading the alchemist, I'll say that hahahaha. I was actually quite surprised that lots of people didn't like the alchemist (just finished that too), I think they expected it to be this thought-endearing book, when it's more of a simple uplifting novel, anyway, I really liked it, and I liked the writing style too, it was an easy read.

books are really good for escaping awkward eye-contact with people on the train.

I hope you guys have been having a good week, I'm kind of exhausted from uni work, I was extremely productive last week and now I'm sort of feeling the burn out, but I've got deadlines and I really ought to be productive now. I also met up with a subscriber this week ^_^, it was fun, and I felt comfortable, which was nice as I'm usually on edge when meeting new people. Started learning a new song on the piano because I was feeling sad and what better way to do that than play sad music ey? I'll record it when I finish and might even upload it here :)

I'm really grateful for this channel, whenever I'm out, zoning out and dissociating, and I read some of the comments people leave, it makes me feel really happy. I can't believe it sometimes that I've really got 27k on this channel, like truly... I remember having 58 and running down to my parents in the kitchen and bragging about it haha. I also found a really good ASMR channel yesterday called Noa ASMR @user-ow6zg7xv5y
there's her @, she's so underrated I really recommend her videos. I fell asleep so fast.

I loved porter robinson's new song, not as much as cheerleader, but it's so nostalgic, and if you've read my previous descriptions you know I'm a bloodsucker for nostalgia hahahaha :')
