ASMR Fixing Your Eye & Hiding From the Enemy | Pre-Apocalypse Police Roleplay (Part 1)

I haven’t been very well, so apologies if this one’s a little slapdash. I also swear a lot in it, so watch out. But, I thought it’d be ‘fun’ to do a preapocalyptic ASMR roleplay, like -just- before the world collapses for some reason. It’s a two-parter, where you personally witness the panic before the storm, and brace yourself before the proverbial hits the fan.

In this one, you’re on guard duty with a colleague in the State Security Civil Militia. It’s a boring shift, but then something goes wrong with your Ocular Social device, so your mate helps you to fix it. But then some rather nasty people arrive… and maybe they’re looking for you? So, it’s a riff on a ‘fixing you roleplay’, with some follow the light, but also with the looming, ever-present threat of civil disorder. Anyway, enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit.

📽 What is FPC? 🎞

FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
