This client has been visiting my salon for over 15 years, and I am truly grateful for the trust and connection we have built together.
She has nearly 100% white hair with a thick and resistant texture.
Gray hair coverage is not only about choosing a color number. The same formula can create completely different results depending on the thickness, strength, and texture of the hair.
On softer hair, a level 7 color can create a natural and beautiful brown tone. However, on thick and resistant white hair, the result may look uneven because the hair does not accept pigment in the same way.
After carefully analyzing her hair texture, I adjusted the formula to around level 6.5 to create a smoother and more balanced color result.
A professional colorist must understand not only color charts, but also how each person's hair reacts to pigment. Fine hair, thick hair, and resistant hair all require different approaches.
