ASMR - Japanese Tea Serving (Lo-fi)

Some crazy people were pleading for a lo-fi video while I was in Japan and since I was unable to record before I left - I decided to give it a go! At 6am this morning, I recorded a little footage and commentary of me serving some authentic Uji green tea. It's not fair to call this a Japanese tea ceremony, but there is hopefully something very relaxing about the ritualistic nature of it :) I'm staying in a Ryokan so everything was already waiting for my when I arrived.

ASMR is essentially a made up acronym (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ) used to describe that tingly / buzzing feeling you may have experienced in your head or running down your spine. The sensation can be triggered by personal attention, tutorials, sounds etc. If you are discovering "ASMR" videos for the first time, their primary purpose is just to relax and almost always to send the listener to sleep.
