[ASMR] 150 French words you already know ! (Thank you Norman Conquest~)

Thanks to the Norman Conquest in 1066, the whole course of the English language was changed. What would have English become if William the Conqueror had failed in his quest of the English throne? English would have perhaps retained most of its inflections and its Germanic vocabulary - but who can say? Thanks to the Norman Conquest, a huge amount of French words was integrated to the English language which means that... you know a lot more French than you think you do ! ~
