ASMR Cult Leader (Binaural Positive Affirmations & Guided Meditation)
To celebrate this oppressively warm solstice, here’s a (sweaty) Cult Leader ASMR roleplay, featuring some tenuously tuned binaural opening harmonies, echoed whispers of positive affirmation, and a repetitive, deeply orated guided meditation designed to help you sleep.
The Cult of Universe – or Youth of Universe (stylised as YOUniverse, YOU, or simply υ) – is an offshoot of the Ancient and Esteemed Order of Jupiter. They preach that the universe is significantly older than we are led to believe, and that as such we are a lot younger as a species than we think. Because of this, they see humankind as having barely opened their eyes since birth, and propagate the idea that we are, in fact, children (or youth) of this ailing and elderly universe. They promote the importance of reconnecting with this lost parentage on a deeper level through introspective, psychonautic exploration of self, and physically repairing broken etheric synapses with our own physical being to, in turn, reconnect with the universe; our estranged parent. They also think that in ten years’ time ancient aliens will return to destroy us – a creation deemed to have gone wrong. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
