A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs is a science fantasy novel written in 1912. It's considered a classic example of 20th-century pulp fiction. It tells the story of John Carter, a Civil War veteran who somehow finds himself on Mars. In the first three chapters, we dive into John's memoir, his early business affairs and his eerie relocation to a Martian landscape.
