This week has been full of summer memories at the lake! We hosted my son’s friends for our annual “Bro Camp,” with lots of swimming, laughter, late-night fun, and all the wonderful chaos that comes with a house full of teenagers. As soon as they headed home, it was time to reset the house and welcome another group of family and friends for one of our favorite lake traditions—the Pirate Parade! Every summer we transform our boat into a pirate ship and join the lake-wide water fight, and it’s always one of the highlights of the season.

I also have a little creative milestone to share—I finally finished my very first knitting project! 🧶 We’ll chat about what I made, what I’ve learned so far, and why I’m completely hooked on knitting. I also talk through an idea that’s been on my mind lately… starting a second YouTube channel dedicated to knitting, crochet, fiber arts, crafting, baking, painting, and all the cozy creative hobbies I love.
