ASMR: Baba Yaga, Slavic Folklore & Mythology | Ear-to-ear Whispering
Baba Yaga is this strange and frequently ambiguous supernatural figure that ranges in depiction from being a helpful grandmother to an extraordinarily dangerous bloodthirsty being.
Most famously, she is depicted as living in a hut in the forest which stands on chicken legs, and also flying or travelling through the forest while being inside a mortar. Very strange indeed. Very fascinating.
This is folklore which I did not grow up with, and so I am very grateful to have the opportunity to learn about it as an adult. Thank you very much for spending the time with me.
