Which is better for ASMR? $1 Mic or $2 Mic? Let me know your thought!
A few weeks ago, I tested for the first time a $1 Lavalier Microphone to see if it could be good enough to make ASMR videos. I had actually ordered another mic at the same time, but it took weeks to arrive. So, The new microphone is a $2 stereo microphone! I could have made a video comparing it to the $200 microphone but as a lot of you really love the $1 microphones, I thought it was a better idea to use both the $1 mic and the $2 mic in one video, trying different ASMR triggers.

As you'll surely hear, the $2 microphone seems to have some problems with interferences. You can hear some sharp noises from time to time. I've tried my best to remove the part that had the more noise so that the video would still be enjoyable to listen to but I couldn't remove everything.

About the video, I test 10 classic ASMR triggers. During the first half of the video, the same triggers are used, once with the $1 mic and then with the $2 mic. In the second part, from 07:07, it's layered sounds time. I've tried to layered both mics, with different sounds, that go together, at least to me. I've also layered the videos.

Today, you can listen to the triggers for a bit longer than usual, at once I mean. I've been doing some really fast transition videos but I wanted to have a slower pace with this one. I also had more than 20 minutes of sound but cut the video in half. Why, you might ask? If I can trust stats, people usually watch 3 minutes of a 10 minutes video and 4 minutes of a 20 minutes video. So, it either means that YOU sleep in less than 10 minutes while watching my videos or that you get bored. Talking about sleeping, I actually fell asleep, just one minute, while listening to the first part of this video. So, those little microphones are good, aren't they?

The 10 triggers to help you sleep today:
1 | Ears Cleaning
2 | Whispering (tingles, etc...)
3 | Bubblewrap (plastic heaven :D)
4 | Cat Tower (this sounds good, usually)
5 | Mouth Sound Tunnel (and mouth sound outsitde the tunnel too)
6 | Gloves (just because I don't use them that often)
7 | Cork Coaster Scratching (I actually prefer cork tapping, but well)
8 | Raggamuffin (Don't ask me)
9 | Glass Tapping (You can hear some interferences on this one)
10 | Apple Juice (I love apple juice. Real apple juice, I mean)
Bonus 1 | Scissors Sounds (just a bonus, you like it too?)
Bonus 2 | Something (Just something. The end is too abrupt, I think)

I hope that this video made you relax, feel better and that you'll fall asleep before reaching the layered sounds part! :D

Thanks for watching.

Good night, friends! :)
