ASMR Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing THERAPY

So this week I’ve been having a really hard time with my depression. It comes maybe a week out of each month, but it fades. Very odd. So I apologize for yesterday’s video (it was pre filmed and I only pre film for trips, not depression haha). Anyway, tonight’s video is perfect for what I’ve been experiencing. It’s helped me so much, and actually unknowingly incorporates asmr into its therapy.

Tonight I’ll be doing what’s called “EMDR”. It stands for Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy. It’s a form of therapy for those who’ve suffered from trauma, and have PTSD, depression, anxiety.. etc.. It takes visual and audio ear to ear sounds to create a distraction while the trauma is present. There are several steps to this, but today we focus on three. Bringing up the trauma, audibly triggering distraction, and visually triggering REM. This therapy has helped so many people, and I hope today it can help you, too. So please.. sit back, relax, and let me try a session on you. If I get enough of a positive response from this, I’ll do a longer, full several step session.
