Her long hair may look straight, but she knows how it feels each day. For her, straightening is about softer texture, flowing movement, and feeling comfortable with her own hair.

My Own Formula Language
Her hair is exceptionally thick and resistant, yet the roots and previously treated lengths need different care. Study, strand tests, and records guide my mixing ratios, application, and timing.

I assessed roots, mid-lengths, and ends separately, then used a two-stage application: controlled softening for resistant new growth and gentler processing for the treated lengths.

During pressing, I adjusted heat, contact time, tension, and speed by section. The roots needed a different approach from the more delicate lengths and ends.

Pro Tip for Hairstylists
Softening lays the foundation; the iron cannot compensate for inadequate chemical preparation. Assess treatment history and elasticity, follow the product system, and record how each section responds. Moisture must also be controlled carefully during heated pressing; a fine mist alone does not guarantee heat protection. Precise pressing and correct neutralization complete the process.
