ASMR washing hands and feet

Today was a day for laundry, ironing, cleaning my bedroom and finding the time to treat myself to an hour of pampering and washing my feet, in a bucket, by the fire. There is something so earthy about quietly washing one's feet in this way. I am reminded of some years ago when taking a bath was a once a week treat and involved filling a tub with buckets of hot water. Now, things are easier but not necessarily more enjoyable. I treasure these simple moments because in the silence, there is an overwhelming gratitude to simply be alive.
