I have a question, I've seen the word Onna written like this おんな but what confuses me is that onna doesnt use the chisaitsu to extend the "N", like matte uses is to extend the "T" sound まって.. could you explain why sometimes the chisaitsu is not used?
Let me think about this a bit more. My original explanation was pulled out of a place ... well, you don't want to know.
