TLDW; I'm doing a lot worse than I've let on this past month. Which is probably obvious by how AWOL I've been. At the same time, since July 2025, I've gotten a lot done in terms of figuring out the underlying condition that's controlled my life, and there have been some big strides that may take some time, but there's a decent enough possibility that I'll be alright on the other side. For now, I'll probably be late on uploads or miss uploads entirely while I'm healing and trying new medicines, etc, but I'm still going to be here on YouTube as best as I can.

I really appreciate how patient and understanding everyone has been throughout this whole thing. Thank you.

This is what my specialist told me regarding Long COVID polyphagia: "Post-COVID syndromes such as polyphagia are due to changes in glucose regulation, often causing intense hunger every 2–4 hours after a meal. COVID can impact metabolism by changing pancreatic and brain hormone signaling, and alter appetite-regulating hormones like leptin and ghrelin. Stress and sleep disruption also play a major part...Hunger may occur with fatigue even after eating...These symptoms are common, and with time and proper management, improvement is possible."

If you don't know what I'm talking about with my Long COVID polyphagia, I made a video about it in July 2025 before it progressed from "severe" to "extreme", so some details aren't accurate anymore but it goes into depth on what I've been dealing with for 5.5 years: https://youtu.be/PF2S-AZnIzY
