🎥 27 YEARS BEHIND THE CHAIR — 11,500 VIDEOS LATER

I have been a hairstylist for 27 years.

And for the past 4 years, I have been documenting my work across three global platforms:

YouTube.
Instagram.
TikTok.

Today, that collection has grown to approximately 11,500 pieces of content.

And yes — I make them myself.

I perform the hair service.
I film the process.
I edit the videos.
And I upload the content myself.

Some days, more than 6 pieces of content are uploaded across my platforms.

There is no production team behind me.

I am a hairstylist behind the chair,
a camera operator while I work,
and an editor after the salon work is finished.

Why have I continued doing this for 4 years?

Because every client who sits in my chair has a different head of hair — and often, a different story.

Today’s client had a particularly beautiful one.

💐 SHE GREW HER HAIR FOR HER DAUGHTER

For a very special reason, this mother had been growing her hair long.

Her daughter was getting married.

She wanted enough length for a beautiful updo on the wedding day, so she patiently kept her hair long even though it had become heavy and uncomfortable.

Yesterday, she finally watched her daughter get married. 💐

And the very next day, she came to my salon.

The wedding was over.

The updo was finished.

And she was finally ready to say:

“Now I can cut it.”

So we removed the long, heavy length and began creating a completely new look for her. ✂️

✂️ TODAY’S HAIR DESIGN

This was not simply a matter of cutting the hair shorter and adding curls.

Once the length and weight were removed, I reassessed the entire design.

Her new length.
Hair density.
Hair texture.
Root volume.
Face shape.
Curl placement.
And how easily she would be able to style it herself at home.

Especially for mature clients, I believe a beautiful perm should not depend on excessive curls.

Balance is more important.

The goal was to create a style that felt lighter, softer, more comfortable, and naturally full of movement.
