ASMR | Energy Healing & Self Love Affirmations ❤️ (with relaxing hand movements)

hey family❤️

something i've been working a lot on lately is feeling comfortable in my own presence, especially in moments of quiet - waking up, making food, cleaning up, before I go to bed, etc. It can often be those moments where we are faced with the darkness in our heads that we would rather avoid by distracting ourselves with something.

the other day, during a moment where i felt sad - instead of trying to distract myself from it, i practised instead trying to embrace myself. I practised trying to hold space for myself, searching for how to bring out my own inner energy / inner power. To find how I could offer *myself* compassion & safety. It's something I know fairly well how to give others, but it's quite foreign thing to do for myself - which is something I would like to change going forward.

It may sound a bit crazy, but I actually lit an incense stick and sat in front of the mirror, put on some music that I find healing & I tried to actively forgive myself for the mistakes I've made that I still beat myself up for. I tried to internally tell myself that I'm worthy of love, I'm worthy of happiness, of growth, of healing. I tried to remind myself that my own energy can be powerful in and of itself. That I can create a warm & gentle environment for myself too if I really want to, not just for others. And you know - it actually made me feel a lot better in the moment.

So I tried to do something similar in this video to share that with you guys too 😊 ❤️
