Three Mile Island Accident Medical Exam ASMR

It's April 1979, weeks after the accident that occurred on March 28 at Three Mile Island, Pennsylvania, where a partial meltdown resulted in the release of radioactive gases and radioactive iodine into the environment. You are a resident of Dauphin County, PA, where TMI is located, and have decided to visit a new doctor in town because you haven't been feeling too well and are concerned it might be related to radiation exposure. The doctor performs a health assessment, eye exam, hearing exam, and even uses some unorthodox methods including hypnosis to help put your mind at ease.

I drove up to TMI (for the first time in my 45+ years as a native Pennsylvanian) with the sole intent of filming this video live on-site with those marvelous jewels of civilization in the background, but it just didn't work out. Maybe next time, or not, since they are supposedly going to shut it all down in 2019.

Stay tuned for "Pripyat Disaster Medical Exam ASMR" and "Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster Medical Exam ASMR" as soon as I can get a couple of plane tickets!

What is ASMR?

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's a non-scientific word that an everyday person came up with to describe the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering, personal attention or watching someone perform a task. It's like goosebumps but much more pleasant and without the uncomfortable chills.

ASMR videos are meant to intentionally induce this sensation in the viewer, often referred to as "tingles", but the videos also serve to provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer. Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect.
