Gray Coverage ASMR | Three Years of Trust

For around three years, this client has traveled over 30 minutes from Seodaemun-gu to my salon in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul. She returns for root color, gray coverage and digital setting perms. Each visit brings her trust into my hands.

Her naturally fine hair needs thoughtful care. Six months after her digital perm, curls still remain. She has booked another perm for next week because she wants renewed bounce.

My Own Formula Language
I assess each section and tailor formulation and timing to its condition, with suitable keratin and collagen care during preparation. My mixing ratios describe my working formulas, not pH readings.

Today, we refreshed her roots with brighter gray coverage. With more gray at the front and less at the back, one formula everywhere may not give an even-looking finish. I adapt my color choices and application to each area, aiming for one harmonious tone.

Assess gray distribution, natural depth and color history. Learn to adapt compatible shades within your color system and follow the manufacturer's mixing instructions. Developer quantity alone cannot reliably create a specific color level. Understand the basics, then apply them thoughtfully.
