No giggling at the back...yes these are valid and useful exercises. I know from experience that the glutes can become lazy and that it is possible to compensate for this by utilising other muscle groups. Along with hip flexor tightness and weakness, they can all contribute to lower back and pelvic issues. I have chosen not to go into great depth in this video because it is simply a very short and sweet glimpse into my morning stretches before I go hiking. However, I may well share some more detailed physiological and anatomical descriptions if there is enough interest.

I had intended to share this earlier today but instead, I went hiking in what can only be described as 'eye hurting temperatures,' although the thermometer showed a generous -3, it was enough to create a hazy mist that shrouded the sun like something from a Wilkie Collins novel or a moody Turneresque type painting.

You will be delighted or not, to hear that I will be uploading the melon munching, sucking and licking video, sometime tonight if I can get myself organised.
