Hello lovelies! In honour of ASMR pink week, to promote breast cancer awareness, I've made a trigger assortment video with lots of pink objects! I hope you enjoy it! :)

What is ASMR?

"Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterised by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine". (ASMR Wikipedia)

If you would like to know more about ASMR, take a look at this VICE article: https://www.vice.com/en_uk/article/gqww3j/asmr-the-good-feeling-no-one-can-explain

How did I discover ASMR?

I have experienced tingles since I was a child, I just never knew that it was ASMR. I used to get them while sitting in my primary school classroom, listening to the rustling of pages and the clatter of pencils. I would struggle not to fall asleep in high school during IT class because of the keyboard sounds. I would get tingles at lots of different sounds. I didn't know what it was, all I knew is that I liked it! Fast forward a few years, and I randomly decided to search "why do I get tingles in my head when I hear typing?"...
This is when I discovered the world of ASMR and it's lovely community!
My mind was BLOWN!! ASMR IS A THING! I AM NOT A WEIRDO! THERE ARE OTHERS LIKE ME! YAY!
I started watching ASMR videos when I was 16, I discovered my triggers: typing, page turning, crinkles, pencil sounds, tapping, mouth sounds, kissing, and lid sounds! I have more random triggers depending on my mood but those are my mains.
Now, after years of watching what feels like a million different ASMR videos, here I am making my own ASMR videos! :D

I absolutely love the ASMR community, and have developed my own tastes for certain sounds. I have a few ASMRtists I enjoy listening to the most, and became inspired by them to help others to relax the way they help me!

I really hope we can connect through the many splendid sounds I plan on making to help you to relax and drift into peaceful slumber :)
