Life is beautiful and ugly, gentle and harsh, comforting and heartbreaking, thrilling and mundane. We need deep sadness to perceive true happiness; we need to be shrouded in darkness to appreciate the light. When you feel lost, remember we are the path through the woods, the waves of the ocean, the winds that push the clouds, the warmth of the sun. We are all that, have always been, and will always be.

I'm sorry if I made you upset. Sometimes it's nice to have a gentle reminder that none of this will last forever. Sometimes life isn't so gentle with its reminders.
