So real deep tissue massage, do you know what deep tissue actually is? or how to do it? I see a lot of therapists right now on Instagram and YouTube using pure strength to almost dig into the muscles and I think "wow are they digging for gold?"
You see to me forcing your way in to the point the client is screaming with pain is not how you work the deeper tissues. In fact when you use muscular strength the body actually tightness up against you stopping you going past the superficial muscles. To really get down to the deeper tissues you have to be patient you have to listen to the body and slowly sink into them.
