🇵🇹 Cable Cars, Bus Tickets, and the Oldest Original Barbershop | Funchal, Madeira
A quick video update and walk around the town of Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. In this video I show you where to find the famous cable cars and where to purchase a local bus ticket to save money. We walk across the old town to the historical farmers market (Mercado dos Lavradores), and then introduce you to Madeira’s oldest barbershop continually operating in it's original location.
Barberia do Marcado opened in 1940 when the Farmers Market opened to the public. It has been located at the Farmers Market in the same store front since opening.
There is an older barbershop however, it is no longer in it's original location. The shop moved to a different location in the late sixties.
