Press On Nail Care *lofi asmr* 💫 Soft-Spoken 💕 Removal + Application Routine 💅

I love press on nails as a form of self expression so I’m excited to share my press on nail care routine, in a lofi/asmr/soft-spoken style.🥰I purchase my press on nails from Etsy and I use the nail glue that comes with the nails to directly apply to my nails (not the sticky tabs). I’ll go through the 3 simple tools I use (warm soapy water, cuticle oil, and a cuticle tool) to help remove my press-on nails. Then, I will go through my application process with how I prep my nails to re-apply with new press ons. Whether you're into press on nails or not, I hope you feel relaxed and enjoy. 💕💅

📌Press On Nail - Removal Directions:
1. Soak nails in warm soapy water for 10min
2. Apply Cuticle Oil (I use Sally Hansen Vitamin E Cuticle Oil)
3. Scrape edges of press on nails where it meets your nail with cuticle tool (I use the Japonesque tool). Scrape towards the top of your nail - be gentle and patient.
4. Wiggle the press on nail once it feels loose, don’t force it as you could cause bruising.
5. Recommend - watch your favorite show or youtube while you do it

📌 Press On Nail - Application Directions:
*Note - I recommend applying nails after a shower/at night to wait at least 8-24hrs until you shower/get a lot of water on your hands
1. File / cut nails as needed - keep them short but not too short
3. Moisturize nails with cuticle oil/or serum
4. Push cuticles down - trimming them is optional depending on what you’re comfortable with
5. Wash hands + apply nail polish remover to nails to clean off all dirt/oil
6. Make sure glue + nails are prepped and ready
7. Lightly buff top of your real nails
8. Apply glue to cover the real nail (lightly squeeze bottle - glue comes out runny-ish)
9. Carefully apply the press on nail to your nail - use the tip first to hold to nail (make sure it rests just above cuticle bed line), then after a few seconds press down on the center of the nail for a few more seconds to secure (make sure the finger pressing down the nail doesn’t have glue on it!)
10. Repeat for all nails - avoid showering/baths for 8-24hrs if possible
11. TIP: Use the sides of your fingers/knuckles/or other objects as much as possible for day to day activities - avoid using force on nails to keep them secure. Should last 2 -3 weeks!
