Happy Lyrics:

Couldn't relax, couldn't sit back
And let the sunlight in my lap
I sang a hymn to bring me peace
And then it came, a melody
It felt so sweet, it felt so strong
It made me feel like I belonged
And all the sadness inside me
Melted away like I was free
I found what I'd been looking for in myself
Found a life worth living for someone else
Never thought that I could be, I could be
Happy, happy
Don't go out much at all
I've never been the type to call
I realize to be happy
Maybe I need a little company
So now you know, you know it all
That I've been des-desperately alone
I haven't found the one for me
But I believe in divinity
I found what I'd been looking for in myself
Found a life worth living for someone else
Never thought that I could be, I could be
Happy, happy
I believe in possibility
I believe someone's watching over me
And finally I have found a way to be
Happy, happy
From the concrete to the coast
I was looking for a Holy Ghost
Like the land joining the sea
Happiness, it followed me
I believe in possibility
I believe someone's watching over me
And finally I have found a way to be
Happy, happy, happy

"Happy" is a song by Welsh singer-songwriter Marina Diamandis, professionally known as MARINA and formerly as Marina and the Diamonds. It is the opening track on her third album, Froot, and was released on 12 December 2014 as the second song from her "Froot of the Month" campaign, which was the monthly release of a new song up until the album's release.[1] An acoustic video for the song was released on 18 December 2014.[2] The song also serves as the second official single from the album.

Marina Lambrini Diamandis (/ˌdiːəˈmændɪs/; Greek: Μαρίνα-Λαμπρινή Διαμάντη; born 10 October 1985), known mononymously by her first name (stylised in all caps) and previously by the stage name Marina and the Diamonds,[1] is a Welsh singer-songwriter and producer.

Born in Brynmawr and raised in Abergavenny,[2] she moved to London as a teenager to become a professional singer, despite having little formal musical experience. In 2009, Diamandis came to prominence upon placing second in the BBC's Sound of 2010. Her debut studio album, The Family Jewels (2010), incorporates indie pop and new wave musical styles. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number five and was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry. The album's second single, "Hollywood", peaked at number 12 on the UK Singles Chart. Her follow-up record, Electra Heart (2012), is a concept album about a character of the same name which became her first number-one project in the UK. The album was certified gold in the US and UK, with its singles "Primadonna" and "How to Be a Heartbreaker" becoming international hits.
