Five months ago, this client had a very strong spiral perm. Over time, the curls became rough, dry, and difficult to manage.
Many people ask why I spend so much time with a flat iron.
But smooth hair does not come from the flat iron alone.
Before pressing, the hair first goes through a softening process. Hair bonds are gently loosened through chemical treatment and controlled processing time. This stage alone can take one and a half to two hours.
Different formulas were used according to the condition of the hair. New growth was processed separately, while the previously permed sections were carefully treated using a two-touch process.
Only after enough softening does the pressing process begin.
Then comes neutralization, which reconnects and stabilizes the hair bonds to complete the new shape.
Long hair with heavy density may require 4 to 6 hours from beginning to end.
Many viewers only see the pressing stage, but behind that smooth result are hours of preparation, patience, and attention to detail.
Even after five hours of work, I still enjoy editing and sharing these moments because every process has value.
Today, she left smiling and said she never imagined her hair could become this smooth again.
