How many ASMR sounds can I make with these biscuits?

This was a new one for ya boy! I was invited onto a sound stage by the good folks at and Mikado, in order to coach some ★UK celebrity talent★ and teach them all about the weird and wonderful world of ASMR.

Part of the day saw me filming this VERY OFF-THE-CUFF 20-minuter .... and apart from me looking like a sweaty freak (you can’t put fans on while filming ASMR......), it hopefully does the Mikado sticks proud. I mean, as far as branded content goes, this was a brilliant shout – I’m always stoked to see ASMR getting more mainstream recognition and airtime.

And big up to the celebs, they were totally game, and likely even did this better than me…. (long-time viewers will know my relationship with actually tapping stuff). Their vids are being posted weekly on Pubity's insta.

Thanks for watching! It’s a different sort of gig, but indulge me this once. Editing, audio and filming were blissfully out of my hands, but different is good, on this channel. I learned a lot.

Why are you whispering at me?!

#ASMR is an acronym commonly used to describe the tingly/buzzing/static sensation associated with certain audio/visual stimulae - often whispering/soft-spoken voice, and other quiet triggers. It's a similar feeling to 'frisson' - the shivers that run up your spine when watching an incredible scene in a film, or really /feeling/ amazing music. It's the best.
