ASMR Medical Hair Exam and Scalp Check with Bad Results

Trigger warning: If lice exam videos make you squeamish, this may not be the video for you.

Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You've come into the emergency department today because you have been experiencing itching and burning on your scalp. Our ER doctor will examine your hair and scalp closely and diagnose you with scalp worms*. She will then extract each one from your scalp carefully. Afterward, she will apply medication to your scalp and hair and thoroughly massage it in.

* Scalp worms are not a real thing. This idea was inspired by a trip my parents took my sister and me on a long time ago to Williamsburg, VA. I think I was 9 or 10. We stayed overnight in a pretty dodgy motel and there were a lot of bugs in the room. It was pretty horrible. At one point my mom was screaming because somehow, she got a worm in her hair. It was one of those moments where you're laughing because her reaction was funny but also because you're hysterical because it's horrifying. I chose this because one of my favorite trigger sounds is the sound of thread pulling through fabric and it's devastatingly underused in ASMR videos. So, I wanted to make a video using that sound in a way that was different than suturing that could be close up around your head.

Please be aware that this video is intended for entertainment, relaxation and ASMR purposes. It is not meant to diagnose, treat, educate or accurately depict issues or illnesses or procedures. Many of the procedures are altered for ASMR purposes and because I'm not filming in an actual medical facility. (Some of them are completely fictional they just involve neat sounds.) Please consult your doctor or a reputable health care source if you have any health questions or concerns.
