TkyoSam’s Sushi Conveyor Belt Video Gets Skewered on Japanese TV

An update on the TkyoSam camera on sushi tray story which just won't go away.
Backstory: A Youtuber --TKyoSam -- put a GoPro camera on a sushi conveyor belt and uploaded it to Youtube about 5 days ago. It went viral.
Sushiro -- the sushi restaurant where this took place -- issued an apology to all their customers on their homepage a few days ago. I thought that was the end of it. It looks like someone is really gunning for Sam by blowing this "scandal" out of proportion.
I woke to msgs about Sam being on Mezamashi Terebi (a big morning show here in Japan) this morning. They said he could go to jail for 3 years and/or pay a 5 million ($45,000) fine. More importantly they called him GAIJIN YOUTUBER. I no longer have Sam's contacts but I know one guy who does... so I called... As much as it might amuse some of you to see Sam go to jail the video does not deserve jail time. More importantly and even though it was nothing like the Logan Paul video, it is further damaging Youtuber's reputations here in Japan. (Thanks Sam! D'oh!)
