There is a lot written (and said) about the dramatic decline in fertility after the age of 35, however, a lot of this is overstated and based on outdated and irrelevant data.
I have had all 4 of my children over the age of 35, the last at 44 and this is not as unusual as you might think. I am going to share with you some really interesting statistics about your actual chances of conceiving a child over 35 years of age and explain why you don’t need to panic about some of the things you will be told if you are trying to get pregnant past your mid 30s.
The reality is that in the 1920s it was normal for women to have children into their 40s and that it is only the baby boomers who have skewed what is considered ‘normal’ with regards to having a baby.
