ASMR Relaxing Head Spa w/ Scalp Scaling & Hair Washing | Soft Spoken Personal Attention RP

Hiiiiiiya, what's happening. So, I don't know about y'all – but I really like head spa videos. ShiliTV has some excellent unintentional ASMR videos where she goes to different spas for different treatments and the head spas are some of my FAVES.

So, scalp scaling for those who don't know, is essentially taking a blunt scalpel like object or even using a comb to scrape the surface of the scalp to help take off any buildup or dry skin on the head. It's actually pretty easy and nice to do yourself if you remember to be gentle with your head and not scrape too deeply. It's a pretty popular thing to do in Eastern Asian countries like Japan or China and you can find scalp scaling/head spa treatments fairly easily at different spa facilities in that part of the world.

I originally filmed this using my Roland CS-10EMs attached to my disembodied head, but now that I have the Rodes, I may try this type of vid again with those instead. I don't really like how the angles turned out in this video, I tried to keep it realistic looking while keeping the head out of sight and also being able to move around and get the right sounds... and it didn't quite work out. In the future, I may just have to do a foley type thing so that my face can be situated in frame the whole time and I don't have to keep bending down. Just kind of awkward haha.

The hair washing part is audio only because my tiny, tiny bathroom was not super conducive to a first-person view while I'm all bent over the sink haha. Everything else has visuals. Sounds may be intense at some points, not overpowering, but certainly intense!
