Welcome to the Cozy Hospital! You've come in today for open heart surgery because you're in need of a valve repair. You'll start in an exam room with a full body exam from your anesthesiologist who will also start your IV and get you hooked up to the monitor. Then, you will be moved to the operating room where you'll be prepped for surgery and counted down as you're put under anesthesia. After the procedure, you'll wake up in the ICU and the nurse there will show you how to use your heart pillow, give you some ice water and do a brief exam.

What is ASMR? ASMR is a tingling sensation often felt on the scalp, neck, shoulders and back, although you may feel tingles in other places as well! ASMR is triggered by different types of stimuli.
