BLACKPINK - ‘뚜두뚜두 (DDU-DU DDU-DU)’ | My M/V ASMR Version / Cover (whispers)

An ASMR version of the last BLACKPINK song - DDU-DU DDU-DU. I listened to this song when it came out and it stayed in my head for days and nights so I had to do an ASMR whispered version of this tune. My original goal was only to read the lyrics. I hadn't intended on making this crazy MV of mine.

A few words about the creation process. I cannot really sing so I was going to slowly whisper the lyrics. But when I started to record it, I tried to whisper-sing the song. Why not? That rap part though! That's too fast for me. Not a problem. Let's do it one line at a time. So, I separate everything in small chunks, if I may say. That's when I thought about making my own Blackpink Music Video cover. I've only used a few references to the original video (tell me if you found some :D). I then kept on adding things, sounds and video parts. The more I added the more I wanted to make something good. I tried to add some beats here and there, made only with objects, sure, this is ASMR. For some parts, it didn't go well so i removed them and only kept the whispers. For some other parts (like the end of the song), I thought it was better with some sounds added, whistle and beats.

I'm not sure this video can be called an ASMR video anymore but I do hope that it will make you smile or laugh. And if you are a Blackpink (Blink, huh?) fan, I hope you'll enjoy this at least a bit. One last information, completely trivial. This video might be one of my shortest video. This is also the video who took me the most time to make. Between 60 and 80 hours I think. Way too much time, but I'm happy I did it.
