Hey, it’s been over two years since we last checked in on Ben from the Camp Queen B&B Blackpool, I wonder how he’s… oh, okay.

That’s right! As a soft launch into the impending Spooky Season, we’re catching up with Ben (who some of you may not remember from previous B&B, Prison, and Holiday Camp ASMR videos). It’s a sort of rehash of a video I did FIVE years ago called ‘Let’s Hide From A Serial Killer ASMR’, but with much more Carry On high camp vibes. So, it’s not scary at all, much more silly than anything else, and does, of course, contain some crude humour and innuendo. But it’s a good time hiding in a closet, what else do you want? There’s soft spoken Englishness, Rich Tea biscuits, and spilt tea galore. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses – even just for a bit.

📽 What is FPC? 🎞

FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds – just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos – but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
