Let's compare the audio quality and trigger sounds in two condenser mics with VERY different price brackets :D

Timestamps:
0:00 - Intro + comparing white noise
2:21 - Glass tapping tiny bottle
4:56 - Fluffy mask fabric scratching + rubbing on mic
7:53 - Squishy peach tapping and squeezing
11:07 - Nail brush scratching
13:28 - Orbeez ball squishy sounds + tapping
16:26 - Bubble wrap crinkles
18:07 - Putting bubble wrap over the mic (INTENSE)
20:29 - Bunchems scratchy velcro sounds
23:11 - Plastic hairbrush tapping + scratching
25:17 - Final thoughts, what do you think?

Mics used in this video:
$200 Rhode NT1A: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B002QAUOKS
$20 Langboss Pro Studio: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01ECP6ACU
Keep in mind these are XLR condenser mics, so if you'd like to use them for ear-to-ear asmr, you need TWO and also two xlr cables and a recording device. I use the Zoom H6 but there are cheaper options like Zoom H4N, Behringer UMC202HD, or Focusrite Scarlett-2i2. Then of course you need stands to attach them to as well. So besides the mics themselves, the bulk of price is in the equipment.
If you're a beginner at asmr I would still recommend the Blue Yeti as a first microphone simply because it's much easier to use and you don't need anything but that one mic and a computer to record.

Thanks to Widowest for editing this bideo :D
