Upside down feels so right - yoga and me

A little snootch of inspiration for Friday, even though I thought it was Thursday and now I feel like I have lost a day but gained some wisdom. I love being upside down for I am unable to tell you what I saw but I can tell you that I am always truly connected with my breath in this position and very much aware of the importance of my core and of the gift of being at one with the earth beneath me.

This may be short and sweet but sometimes, the best things in life...are just that. When I invert, I never feel pain in the places that I would usually feel pain; my knees, hands, shoulders and sometimes, my feet. It is as if time stands still and I am only aware of my breath and nothing else...that is the stillness that I have previously tried to explain but am never very successful in doing so.

Oh and my leg warmers were once the sleeves of a sweater that was eaten by moths. Nothing goes to waste with me.
