Mango is a Fisher's Lovebird (we think) and makes nests by sticking together long strips of cardboard and paper. She prefers slightly stiffer paper like the bark she might find in nature. I love the rustling, almost tapping-like paper tearing sounds she makes! She has an entire playlist on my front channel page under the ASMR bedtime stories category, and you can see more of her there! I also make ASMR, and I hope to make you smile or think. The aesthetic of ASMR, in addition to the medical phenomenon and use for decreasing stress, is fascinating to me. Mango actually responds to ASMR sounds herself with a calm, almost trance-like hyperaware state--while my cockatiel Cinnamon gets riled up and doesn't seem to like it. Everybody is different!
