You can thank a cherry tomato for the inspiration behind this video. (Even though he didn't make it into the video...)
My initial plan was to have a mixture of sweet and savoury foods (including fruits and veggies) on the platter, but when I put it all together it looked cluttered and not true enough to the round theme I was going for. So I stripped it back to the essentials – donuts, chocolate and cookies. 😂
~FOOD FEATURED IN THE VIDEO:
*Donuts*
These are made with cake batter! I used the Aldi White Mill brand vanilla cake box mix and veganized it with Vitasoy soy milk, Nuttelex vegan butter and Orgran egg replacer. The glaze is CSR icing sugar mixed with soy milk and food colouring (Queen gel food colour in hot pink). The sprinkles used are: https://www.fancysprinkles.com/products/classic-rainbow-jimmies
*Chocolate Chip Cookies*
Woolworths brand gluten free choc chip cookies.
*Apricot Snack Balls*
Robern brand Apricot Coconut Balls, purchased from Woolworths. (This is dried apricot rolled in coconut) https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/241100/robern-apricot-balls
*Choc Crunch Balls*
Bite Society brand Milky Choc Balls (purchased from a vegan store in Sydney). https://bitesociety.com/
*Soy Milk*
